Budo Montreal is a traditional ninjutsu dojo. Ninjutsu is a martial art whose techniques originate from the battlefields of Japan dating back to the Kamakura period (1185 CE). The training environment is non-competitive. It instead focuses on the efficiency and effectiveness of every movement and technique. Instruction covers close-quarters combat with and without weapons including knives, short and long staff, sword, chain and rope weapons, and more.

The instructors of Budo Montreal are passionate about ninjutsu. These are men and women who have between 12 and 22 years of experience. Practitioners come from all walks of life; massage therapist, dancers, musicians, military, Polices, programmers, security guards, nurses, etc. All practice under the supervision of Dai Shihan Stéphane Meunier, recipient of a Golden Dragon for his book "Kiso no Kaizen".
